How counselling can help

Support shaped around real life, not a one-size-fits-all script.

Clients come to counselling for many reasons. Jayne helps people explore what is happening, gain insight and begin creating healthier patterns of behaviour, relationships and self-understanding.

Understand

Make sense of what feels overwhelming

Explore feelings, triggers and patterns in a safe space with someone outside the situation.

Stabilise

Build steadier ways to cope

Develop emotional resilience, grounding strategies and practical next steps at a pace that feels manageable.

Reconnect

Find and connect with inner strengths

Move from feeling stuck towards a more fulfilling life, stronger boundaries and healthier relationships.

Specialist support

Carefully presented support areas, built around Jayne’s experience.

From domestic abuse and trauma to neurodiversity, anxiety, family issues and children’s counselling, the site is built around Jayne’s actual areas of support.

For children

Gentle support for big feelings

An age-aware space for worries, learning differences, bullying, behaviour concerns and family changes.

For adults

Room to unpack life safely

Support with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, self-esteem, abuse and relationship patterns.

For families

Understanding patterns together

A place to look at communication, conflict, behaviour, separation and emotional pressure.

Flexible modes of support

Healing does not have to happen in only one place.

Jayne offers face-to-face counselling, telephone sessions, Zoom and Microsoft Teams appointments for adults, with home visits considered where appropriate.

The aim is to make support feel accessible and safe, whether you prefer to meet in person, talk from home or start with a lower-pressure phone conversation.
